NYCIS Team Trios Open

Welcome to the the NYCIS Team Trios Open! Teams play three 1v1s, with team members playing Pauper, Legacy, and Premodern; the first team to win two of the 1v1s wins the match. This event caps at 43 teams and prizes $4000 to top finishers when capped. This event will be held at Hex & Company's historic Westside location at 2911 Broadway in Manhattan. It will begin promptly at 10AM on October 5th. One ticket pays for the entire team.

Off the Top Rope: A No Deck Touching Charity Tournament

Hosted by Sunny S.! More details to follow including rules and prizing. But this will be a charity event where Sunny plans to donate the prizing from his personal collection so we can maximize proceeds to our beneficiary organization. Sunny worked with the one and only Lan D. Ho (the progenitor of the no deck touching movement) to select a charity that could really use our help given everything going on in the world, and they landed on UNICEF. Hope you’ll come out and support a great cause while not touching your deck!

Format: Premodern (Swiss rounds w/ top 8 cut)

Entry: $45

Advertised Prize Support at 32 Players:

1st: Mox Diamond

2nd: Survival of the Fittest

3rd/4th: $100 Store Credit

5th-8th: $50 Store Credit

Additional entries beyond 32 players will be added to the prize pool!

Decklists will be required.

Gold-Bordered cards will be legal but playtest cards will not be allowed.

This event will sell out, so preregistration is strongly suggested.

Jersey City Win-a-Box Premodern Tournament

Victory Point in Jersey City is hosting their first Premodern tournament! The store can be reached via two stops from World Trade Center in Manhattan. Registration is here.

This tournament will have two phases: 1) All players swiss rounds (4-5 depending on number of players) 2) Cut to top 4-8, single elimination depending on number of players.

Prizing: [1st]: Full box of standard (36 packs) [2nd]: 20 standard packs* [3rd-4th]: 10 standard packs*

*Prizing based on 16 players.

** We will cut to top 8 if more than 16 players and prizes scale with number of players.
